Seem to have their own language, even though they speak the same one we all do (most of the time).

They understand one another on a level the rest of us just can't get to.

It's true that sometimes he picks on her, and she quietly fumes with frustration because of him.

But he loves holding her hand when we're out. She loves sneaking in for hugs and kisses.

No one can make the scallywag laugh harder than his big sister. He knows that she is the funniest person on the face of this planet, and his cackle~because it really is a cackle~is the most infectious sound. You can't help but join in.

How Eldest retains her composure I'll never know!

What the children have is something special. And hilarious! It makes my heart ache with joy for them both.

Enjoy this little piece of amusement from our Blossoming Children to you!

(And yes, I once again bring up our serious need for overhead lighting for our apartment. Husband?).

Maria~I'm happy to share. Isn't there something just so pure and beautiful about the laughter of a child? Plus it is so contagious! I hope you're doing well in DC!!

HHL~You are so kind, thank you! The kiddos really are two peas in a pod in spite of their age gap. Once Jackson really takes off in the language department things are going to get even more crazy around here! Take care and have a good day.
