Eldest's room is getting a little update. Nothing big, just a few little touches here and there. Like her bedding and draperies, these will be pieces she can use for years~well into adulthood. After all, classics never go out of style!

Here are the fabrics being used:

Bright yellow velvet and a yellow, white, and spode blue trellis. I can't wait to show you the finished products. They'll be perfect accompaniments for any young lady's home or bedroom.

These happy yellows are certainly brightening up our dreary October day. A lovely day to you all as well!

I'll have one up by Monday, but the yellow velvet is being used for something that will take more time. Hint: it involves monogramming! Like a wise, Southern woman once said: "If it stands still, I'll monogram it!"

    Enjoy your weekend Katherine!

Thank you ladies! The trellis has been used and will be up on the blog come Monday. As for the velvet...that one will require a bit of patience.

A lovely weekend to you both!
